Our people

While in school you get an insight into all kinds of various aspects of your field. Once you join the workforce, however, more often than not those opportunities fade away. I did not want to become complacent, doing one thing for the rest of my life. DICOM allows me to participate in a variety of projects, which keeps me on my toes professionally. This is one of the hidden benefits, one which I might not get elsewhere. As a result I do not feel like I'm losing my grip skill-wise.

In my professional career I have worked in different positions – from Marine Radio Officer, to Key Account Manager in a big multinational IT company to the CEO of a tactical radios manufacturer. I worked for a number of both Czech and foreign companies, but DICOM has always been my heart and soul. Working here is both my profession and a hobby, and it lifts my spirits to see the fruits of our labors used in different corners of the world.

Senior FPGA programmer

We would appreciate if our new colleague would possess:

  • strong knowledge of FPGA programming in Xilinx
  • experience with SoC Zynq
  • experience with Vivado a HLS development environment
  • experience with FPGA implementation of digital signal processing algorithms
  • systematic thinking and creativity

  • English language active usage

  • theoretical knowledge and practical experience in RF circuits design
  • wide range of knowledge. i.e. masters filters, amplifiers, synthesizers, etc.
  • knowledge of any PCB design software (preferably Altium)
