Following intensive operational testing, a new version of the RF40 software, version 2.3 (Major Release), was released in July 2024.

Field Day DICOM – R&S
The last traditional DICOM Field Day event was enriched by the participation of a team of our colleagues from Rohde & Schwarz and especially by the opportunity to directly compare the communication systems of our two companies in the same conditions of a user test in the Chřiby area.
Both systems demonstrated excellent communication capability in complex mountainous terrain with the need for frequent ad-hoc reconfiguration of the network topology.
At the same time, this opportunity was used to get to know colleagues personally and to be able to collaborate over challenging tasks in an international team.
